(Chicago, IL)- The Chicago YC’s fabulous Race Committee is hosting the four-day J/88 North American Championship, in conjunction with the Verve Cup Offshore Regatta, starting on Thursday, August 9th. A fleet of seventeen J/88s from across the eastern half of North America will be vying for the N.A. Championship crown against the best fleet ever assembled for the class. Rolex Big Boat Series Update
(San Francisco, CA)— It’s hard to find a purer form of sailing than a lineup of polished teams on identical platforms, all with an equal shot at race course glory. This is precisely what makes One-Design racing the heart and soul of the St. Francis Yacht Club’s annual Rolex Big Boat Series. FM J/70 Lake Ontario Top Dog!(Youngstown, NY)- The Youngstown YC hosted yet another awesome CanAm Challenge Regatta on western Lake Ontario this past weekend.  The fun and games included an “impromptu” (but, fiercely fought) street hockey game along the waterfront parking lot between Canadian and American sailing teams; bragging rights for North American supremacy again go to the Canadians with a 2-1 victory!
